I love the fact that you can stare at Andy's work without having to think; the way it vacates your mind of all thought and allows you to simply look. His works so visually appealing I don't care about the meaning behind it I just want to sit and stare at all the pages and the photographs. I do the same with his movies. Poor Little Rich Girl's twice as good with the sound off. I think too many people fuss over meaning and technique, they don't realise how difficult it actually is to make something with only the intention of being enjoyable to look at. I don't want to look at work that lets you see right through someone, I just want to stare.
