...has a job?
Yes.
ME!

Friday, February 27, 2009

Weekends and weekends and weekends.

You're lost little girl
You're lost little girl
You're lost
Tell me who
Are you?

I think that you know what to do
Impossible?
Yes, but it's true
I think that you know what to do, girl
I'm sure that you know what to do

You're lost little girl
You're lost little girl
You're lost

MAC Kitty Kouture

Looks like I have some saving to do...

When youve begun to think like a gun, the days of the year have suddenly gone.

Horoscope: What will happen if you get what you want this weekend? How will you cope? Can't you set out, instead, to get something that you're not really so bothered about? That way, you can stay cool and calm and you avoid disappointment if, for any reason, your 'ideal' turns out to be less than perfect. Are you sure you want life to have an intense, rough, raw edge? Wouldn't you rather have safety and comfort? You can have more security or more excitement. Both together though, is not really very likely. But then, you know that!

Dyed my hair back to dark.
Job interview at 3.
Yesterday wasn't great but today could be amazing.

Oh yeah,

I just got my RSA too.

Trust.

Fuck men.
If they're not lying to your face they're talking about you to their friends.
Is honesty too much to ask for?

They're gonna put me in the movies, they're gonna make a big star out of me

We'll make a film about a girl that's sad and lonely
And all I got to do is act naturally.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

Melt, my lover, melt.

IPOD'S DRIVE ME INSANE.
Job interview tomorrow.
RSA on Thursday.
Party like mad on Friday.

Monday, February 23, 2009

The first 15 minutes takes a long time. But the second 15 minutes takes forever.

Thank you Jackson Leak for the book :D
Your a doll!

Why,

do my plans always turn to shit?

I'm pretty glad your not angry with me.

On lead poisoned wings you try to sing
Freak beak shrieks are thrown at your confusing hue
The peacock screaming eyes show no mercy no mercy

Painted bird it’s absurd
Just a tainted bird hurting their twisted nerve

The flock will make you choke on this sadistic joke
And the whippoorwills they make a din
In laughing unison you’re hitchcock carrion
Carry on

Painted bird it’s absurd
Just a tainted bird hurting their twisted nerve

I hear your sorrow maybe tomorrow
You’ll lose you sorrow
When a fated weather will cleanse away
That painted feather and all that sorrow

A coquette in fur purr for the painted bird
Confound that dowdy flock with a sharp honed nerve
Because we’re painted birds by our own design
By our own design there’s no more sorrow

Have you heard about the painted bird
Just a tainted bird hunting their twisted nerve

We’ve lost our sorrow now it’s tomorrow
No need to hide your feather under a fated weather
No more sorrow...

Now we’re painted birds mocking that twisted nerve

THIS WEEK:

I will:
*Get (or book) my RSA.
*Apply for a passport.
*Look for a guitar.
*Develop film and buy new roll.

Pretty Ugly(?)

I'm worth a million in prizes.

Wow.
This weekend has actually been really, really good.
Maybe I should never go to sleep again?

Son of A Bitch.

It hurts
There's a pain in my head
I wish it would stop but it never stops
I can feel it coming...I'm getting weaker
Please help me...I'm getting weaker
I'm getting weaker
Please help me
I wish I could help myself...
Let me out of here...
I belong out there
Son of a bitch, son of a bitch
Let me out of here...I belong out there
Never say die...I must never die
Let me out of here...I belong out there
You son of a bitch...
I'll pull your hair
Let me out of here...I belong out there
You son of a bitch...
I'll pull your hair
Never say die...Never say die, I must, I must never die
Let me out of here...I belong out there
Son of a bitch

Coffee, Tea or Me?

Horoscope: Instead of a prediction, I should give you a coupon. It can read, 'This entitles the bearer to a significant discount at the emporium of their choice and to the full sympathy and understanding of all around them.' You can cut it out and keep it in your wallet, next to the supermarket discount card. Whenever you need it, just produce it. The funny thing is, you don't really need to. The Sun is in your sign. A cosmic coupon now hovers invisibly above your head. It may not get you the discount - but it will bring you the rest, if you trust it.

Trial number two today, this job would be perfect if I get it.

Also, new roll with new cam and new film should be finished by tonight and developed my Mondayyy.

Mummy & Daddy

I dont care what you think.
I'll live until I die.

I have also decided

...I'm not going back to school this year.

Tuesday, February 17, 2009

I have decided

...that I need to learn how to process film myself AND buy a scanner with a negative bed.
Purely for convenience.

You made my day.

Bought The Big Issue for the first time and then scored two job trials :)
Karma is so sweet to me.

Time takes a cigarette, puts it in your mouth
You pull on your finger, then another finger, then your cigarette
The wall-to-wall is calling, it lingers, then you forget
Ohhh how how how, youre a rock n roll suicide
Youre too old to lose it, too young to choose it
And the clocks waits so patiently on your song
You walk past a cafe but you dont eat when youve lived too long
Oh, no, no, no, youre a rock n roll suicide
Chev brakes are snarling as you stumble across the road
But the day breaks instead so you hurry home
Dont let the sun blast your shadow
Dont let the milk float ride your mind
Youre so natural - religiously unkind
Oh no love! youre not alone
Youre watching yourself but youre too unfair
You got your head all tangled up but if I could only
Make you care
Oh no love! youre not alone
No matter what or who youve been
No matter when or where youve seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
Ive had my share, Ill help you with the pain
Youre not alone

THIS SATURDAY

$10 a ticket.
Should be lots'o'fun!

School or..

Job hunting?
Such a hard decision to make.

Saturday, February 14, 2009

Best friends.

Always come first.

I'll Keep It With Mine.

You will search, babe, at any cost,
But how long, babe,
can you search for what's not lost?
Everybody will help you
Some people are very kind.
But if I can save you any time,
Come on, give it to me,
I'll keep it with mine.
I can't help it if you might think
I am odd
If I say I'm not loving you for what you are
But for what you're not.
Everybody will help you,
Discover what you set out to find
But if I can save you any time,
Come on, give it to me,
I'll keep it with mine.
The train leaves at half past ten
But it'll be back tomorrow same time again.
The conductor, he's weary,
Still stuck on the line.
But if I can save you any time,
Come on, give it to me,
I'll keep it with mine

Valentines day...

I'd much prefer a bullet to my brain.

Mechanical flattery.

I'm a horror, I'm a mess. I'm an idiot for you.

Friday the 13th.

Horoscope: Are certain things 'meant to be' or are we just very good at retrospective justification? Do we have a natural knack of rewriting history so as to include the movements of an invisible guardian angel, whose activities were not particularly in evidence at the time? It now seems as if recent events have had much more point and purpose than you originally thought. If you don't already feel relieved, reassured and vindicated, you can expect Friday the thirteenth to be a day that helps you feel more blessed in your life

I feel like smiling today.
Bye bye baby.

Escape?

I'm leaving on a jet plane baby
Don't know when I'll be back again.

Tuesday, February 10, 2009

Hey, Hollywood's calling your name.

Got my new studio today.
Right under the Hollywood sign.

= Perfection

Stoned alone.

I'm starting to believe that none of this is real.

School tomorrow...

Horoscope: Why should you reject what you are now being offered? Is there something wrong with it? Or with you? Do you deserve more? Or do you not deserve as much? You seem to be doing much fault-finding. Is this because there are so many obvious faults to find? By all means look a gift horse in the mouth, if you think there is a chance of getting a better gift horse. But, maybe, rather than wonder how generous someone has been towards you, you should be generous with the benefit of the doubt.

My thoughts on this are yet to be decided.

Stop, children, what's that sound?

What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side

It's time we stop,
hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down

It's only February 2009 and already so many precious lives have been lost.

But we're still alive.

We can still do something.

THIS FRIDAY

Coles is donating the day's profit towards Melbourne's bush fire appeals.
NO grocery shopping until then ok?

Shivers, shakes and burns

Somethings about to happen, I just dont know what.

Mod Zombie

New camera, new film.

Yes.
I have a new camera that I'm dying to use:
Hannimax 35 f automatic, circa 1980.
Alsoooo dying to buy and try Ilford XP2 film.
Hopefully I can do all this and more this week, my first week back at school; 2nd year of the great Diploma of Visual Art at RMIT.
Wah, I will still party.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind.

Rollercoastes are no fun at all; this week is insane.

I'll Be Your Mirror

What shall today bring?

Your Week Ahead: You have been nurturing a dream for some while. You have been playing with a fantasy, exploring an idea, entertaining a vision and telling yourself, all the while, that this is all you are really doing. Just whiling away a little time. Yet you have also been setting in motion a series of events which have the potential to make the whole thing happen. Telling yourself, as you do, that you are under no obligation to take your opportunity, even if you do manage to create it. That's true. You are not under any such obligation. But can you resist the chance that you now have?

To my friends, I love you all very dearly.

Allem

R.I.P.
I hope you find what your looking for.

Currently reading:

"A man's weakness and strength, purity and impurity, are his own, and not another man's. They are brought about by himself and not by another; and they can only be altered by himself, never by another. His condition is also his own, and not another man's. His suffering and his happiness are evolved from within. As he thinks, so is he; as he continues to think, so he remains."

As A Man Thinketh by James Allen.

Pulling so many all nighters...

Horoscope: People look at other people and they think, 'I'm better than you.' Or, 'I'm not as good as you.' Or, if they are more subtle, and most of us are, they think, 'You think you're not as good as me.' Or, 'You think you're better than me.' By instant definition, we must be better than people who think they are better than us. And we may well be better too, than people who think they are not as good as us! So, with such psychological defence mechanisms, we lead our lives. Don't let these trip you up this weekend.

Cant be good for your skin.
Oh, and your health either.

Going to see if the chemist across the street does a 1hr photo service.
This roll is colour...
No idea how good or bad it will turn out.

The John Curtin tomorrow at 9pm

Savers & The man

Horoscope: Remember climate change? Before the credit crunch it was worrying everyone. Currently, it is only bothering Australians. Latest news from NASA is that it isn't just the Earth. Mars is showing every sign of global warming, too. As are the moons of Jupiter. It may have more to do with the Sun than with anything that humans are up to. Shame we can't say the same about the banking crisis.
Watch, today, for false culprits and overblown concerns. If you are doing your best, you can do no more.

Ahh 43 minute wait for a 9 digit number.
Why do people make life so difficult when it doesnt need to be?
Enjoying my new found spiritual awakening and will soon be enjoying my short stroll into Saversville, Footscray.
So what if I am the glue that keeps it all together?
Maybe I shouldn't see this as a burden anymore but a talent.
If I smile, you might smile.

As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.

So now,
not only do I feel like dirt,
I have realised that it's all my own doing anyway.

Tuesday's horoscope.

If aliens land next week, we will all soon forget the credit crunch. If they are hostile, we can stimulate the economy by gearing up to chase them away. If they are friendly, we can trade with them. So it's a bit of a win/win situation. Bring them on. The funny thing is, the aliens have already landed. They just didn't come in space ships. What are you and I but beings from another world who have mysteriously landed in this one? Take a cosmic view of your situation and it will soon become far less problematic.

Damn you Jonathan Cainer, your always right!

Today's Herald Sun horoscope

It is all getting very interesting. You are fascinated by a recent development. You want to know as much as you can about a certain person or a particular opportunity. To what extent, though, are you like a fish, following a baited hook? Is it really possible just to take a small nibble without getting caught? And might you be better advised to focus on something which is a little less immediately attractive yet a lot more likely to keep you safe and secure? Look more carefully at what your object of obsession is attached to!

Mein Herr.

I'm standing in a suit
As ragged as my nerves
And I agree what I've become
Is surely worth the hatred
That you've spat at me
The sky above me
The night so deep
That I could trip and drown
And still I see that you would dearly love
To shut me down

Congratulations Marina

You've finally got your learners permit.

Pretty soon you'll have your P's and we can drive your baby to Mexico.

Note to Marina: Buy baby.
